The Ox is hardworking, disciplined and is a devoted laborer in service to its master. The Ox never questions its path nor does it seek autonomy from his master. It is very reliable is driven by loyalty, often working beyond exhaustion without complaint.
Steadfast
The Ox is calm and steady and the epitome of steadfast dedication, willingly yoked to the plow and committed to its work without question.
Agreeable
The ox is patient, loyal, cooperative, and willing to serve. It is extremely patient and agreeable, moving steadily forward, relying on routine.

The Sanskrit word पोषक (Poṣaka) can be broken down as follows:
"पोष" (Poṣa) is derived from root puṣa "to nourish, grow or support"
क (Ka) – Symbolizes action, doing, or one who performs a function, indicating the active role of a nourisher or supporter.
Poṣaka essentially means "one who nourishes, strengthens, and sustains."

They are slow-moving, resistant to change, and stubborn. Their devotion can sometimes lead to feeling overburdened, as the ox does not always recognize when to step back, making it vulnerable to exhaustion and blind obedience.
