Immerse yourself in a enlightening experience and explore the
life-changing principles of Vedic Psychology

Every Wednesday in the Ashram Library living room

(or from the comfort of your own home if you join online)

How it works:

Every Wednesday, Dr. Joshi brings Vedic Psychology off the page and into your reality. The group gathers and listens as she reads from the book we are working through (each one carefully selected to illuminate Vedic Psychology concepts and principles).

The words really come alive as Dr. Joshi weaves in personal stories & anecdotes and real-life examples, transforming Vedic Psychology concepts into relatable experiences.

There are often rich discussions that bridge the gap between ancient principles and contemporary living. It's not just theory—it's practical wisdom for the modern world.

We spend significant time going through one book at a time. It's a slow deep read that allows us to:

  • truly absorb and integrate each teaching
  • reflect deeply on the wisdom shared
  • connect the concepts to our daily lives

When one book concludes, another begins so that the VP Book Club is an ongoing exploration of Vedic Psychology, ensuring fresh insights and growth with every book we work through.

The Book We are Currently Working Through:

Vedic Psychologist, Jessica Richmond, PhD, shares her personal stories from life on the road traveling and teaching with her guru, a man of Vedic wisdom, Satyanarayana Dasa Babaji.

Her stories are riddled with humor as she navigates the mysterious ways in which Babaji teaches her these lessons. The topics of Jessica’s stories have a way of relating to everyone, such as how to navigate: a jealous boss; her own jealousy; caffeine addiction; death and loss; love; phobias, and the all-dreaded 'silent treatment'.

You do not need to purchase the book, because Dr. Joshi will be reading it aloud - every word of it, in class. But if you would like to read along with your own copy, here are the links:
